OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Services include but are not limited to:
- Assists and re-trains patients that have lost function due to stroke, Parkinson’s, severe arthritis, or other physical challenges
- Activities, assessment and planning
- Energy conservation techniques
- Recommends adaptive equipment
- Teaches compensation for losses of sensation & vision
- Specific rehabilitation to improve function and ameliorate pain in individual areas such as the hand.
